Terms of use

extynt is free and open source. The software is licensed under the terms in the LICENSE file in the repository (MIT). This page covers this website and what to expect.

Free, with no accounts

There is no price, trial, licence key or account. Sponsorship is optional and buys nothing.

Your own model

extynt is bring-your-own-model. You supply the AI model or provider and pay it directly, or use a local model. extynt does not resell model access and does not control what a provider does with your requests; that is governed by the provider's own terms.

Provided as is

extynt changes your After Effects projects at your direction. It is provided as is, without warranty of any kind, as the licence says. Keep backups of your work.

Third-party software and trademarks

extynt is independent and is not affiliated with, endorsed by or sponsored by Adobe or any other third party it works with. See Trademarks and third-party software. You need your own license to After Effects and to any model provider you use.

Your work

You own your projects, your prompts and everything you make with extynt. extynt does not receive your projects and never uses your work, prompts or outputs to train AI models. The AI provider you connect handles what you send it under its own terms; see the privacy page.
